Privacy Policy

West Side Tavern is responsible for your information. The website is built and run for the tavern by ELEVARESTUDIO LLC, doing business as Elevare Studio (elevarestudio.co), as the technology provider. Elevare handles information only to run this site for the tavern, not for its own marketing.

• Table requests

  Your name, phone number, email address (optional), party size, the date and time you want, and the occasion or notes you choose to type. We use them to call you and confirm. When you send a request, an email with those details goes to the bar's inbox. If you give an email address, we also email you twice: once to say we got your request, and once when the bar confirms it. A request is not a booking until the bar confirms it. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your account so you can see it on your account page.

• Customer accounts (optional)

  You never need an account. If you make one, you sign in with Google, or with Apple where that button is shown. We receive your email address and your name as the provider shares them. On your account page you can add a name and a phone number, choose whether you want event alerts, and see your table requests. Please do not type health details or other sensitive information into the notes box.

• Event emails (optional)

  The Events page has a box where you can put your email to hear when something is happening at the tavern. It is a list for event announcements only, not a newsletter. We keep your email address, whether you are still subscribed, and a private code that makes your unsubscribe link work. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the emails; your address stays on file marked as unsubscribed until you ask us to delete it.

• Visit counter

  We count visits to see how many people use the site. It uses no cookies and stores no IP address. Your IP address and browser are scrambled into a code on the server, and that code is scrambled again with a secret and the date, so the same person looks different every day and the code cannot be turned back into an address. We store that daily code, the page path and the time.

• Payments

  Online payments are currently off. You pay with cash or card at the bar. If online payments are turned on later, your card details will go straight to Stripe's secure form and never to us, and we will update this page first.

We do not sell your information, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

Owners and the Elevare help desk. The people who run the tavern's website sign in with Google or Apple. When an owner sends a help request from the owner dashboard, the owner's name and email and the text of the request go to Elevare Studio's support system. No customer information is sent with it.

• ResendEmailSends our emails: table request alerts to the bar, the two booking emails to you (we got your request, and the bar's confirmation), a booking quote if the bar sends one, and event emails to people on the event list. Resend records whether an email was opened and which links in it were clicked, and for that it routes the links in our emails through track.mail.west-sidetavern.com. If you reply to an email sent from a mail.west-sidetavern.com address, Resend receives the reply and it goes to Elevare Studio's support system, not to the bar's inbox. resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of guests, staff or the business.

• ·Table requests, accounts and the event list: kept until you ask us to delete them.

• ·Hosting logs: held by Vercel under its own schedule.
• ·Sign-in records: kept by Supabase until the account is deleted.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the site has no advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. This site stores two small things in your browser: a note that you have seen our cookie notice, and, only if you sign in, the sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. When the map on the Visit page loads, Google can set its own cookies, and Google and Apple can do the same on their sign-in pages. The visit counter sets nothing in your browser.

• ·Delete your account. Signed in, press the delete button on your account page. It removes your profile and your sign-in. Table requests you already sent stay with the bar, without the link to your account.
• ·Delete anything else, or see what we hold. Call or stop in and ask. We may need to match the phone number or email you used.
• ·Fix something. Tell us and we will correct it.
• ·Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any event email, or ask us.

We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, including people covered by the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act.

West Side Tavern is a 21-and-over bar and this website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

The site uses encrypted connections, and the database only lets you see your own account information. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep what we hold to a minimum.

When this policy changes, we change the version line at the top of this page.
